History

PROTEC Systempasten GmbH has been handling the production and sale of tinting pastes as well as semi-finished and finished products for mechanical tinting systems since 1995. At the time, CWS Lackfabrik of Düren was persuaded to join us as a partner in the distribution of pastes, having gathered a great deal of practical experience with the new process technology through its established ProfiColor system. Since then, PROTEC Systempasten GmbH has been marketing this process technology next to its range of tinting pastes, aiming to provide paint and lacquer manufacturers not only with system components but also with knowledge about holistic tinting systems.

Our path led us from Jülich, where we were located in 2003, to the Dörken holding company located in Herdecke, under whose umbrella we have been since 2005 as one of four fully-owned subsidiaries.
